Electric Connections is a registered member of NAPIT (National Association of Professional Inspectors and Testers), - one of the five bodies approved by the DCLG (Department of Communities and Local Government formerly the ODPM).

We have ‘Scheme A’ status, the highest scheme level available, and demonstrates that we have been assessed and met the criteria for the ‘Competent persons scheme’ referred to in the Part P of the Buildings Regulations 2000.

NAPIT is a respected organisation with one of the fastest growing memberships and is considered in every way to be equivalent in status to the NICEIC.

We take our profession very seriously and have a responsibility to train the next generation of electricians properly through a recognised apprenticeship scheme. We've been assessed and accepted by JTL, a leading training provider to the electrical industry, and are deemed suitable and competent and fulfil the rigorous criteria for training our young apprentices.
