Solar Photovoltaic “PV” produces clean, sustainable energy from a natural, renewable source.

Everyone would like to cut their electricity bills and reduce their carbon footprint!
Everyone would like to find out what this costs and how easy they are to install!

Just look at the following list of benefits:
• Feed in Tariffs (energy cashback) paid for the energy generated – whether you use it or not! This
is paid direct to you by your electricity service provider and is currently 41.3p per kWh/p.

• This tariff is GUARANTEED, index linked and Tax free for 25 years!

• The electricity generated is used to power appliances and any surplus exported to the Grid. You
are paid 3p per kWh for each unit you export.

• A ROI is typically 5.6% ‐ even greater if you’re a 40% tax payer ‐ what investment even
approaches that kind of return!

• Typically a 2.5kW/p system will pay for itself in around 12 years at current electricity prices.

• Typically in the UK 850 kilowatt hours (kWh) of power can be generated annually from every kW
of PV panels installed.

• Not only will there be a reduction in energy bills but solar PV will also minimise the affect of rising
energy costs over the coming years.

• PV systems have no moving parts, require little maintenance and come with a 20 year guarantee.

• Investment in a highly reliable system with a typical lifetime of 25‐30 years.

• An energy saving solar installation adds value to a property and makes it more efficient.

• The system installs easily into the existing grid connection via your consumer unit.

• Generating solar energy reduces dependency on the commercial electricity providers.

• A typical 2.8 KWp system will save over 1 tonne of CO2 per year.

The following is an example of the performance of a typical solar PV installation. A 3.87kWp PV
system is capable of producing 3,322kWh per annum of electricity. If this is retrofitted to an existing
building this year, the Feed in Tariff will be 41.3p per kWh generated – whether you use it or not. This
would trigger an annual payment of £1372.00 from the electricity supplier to the property owner
(3,322kWh X 41.3p = £1372). You would also benefit by not having to purchase 3,322kWh of
electricity.

Any unused electricity could be exported to the grid system generating further income.
See the attached survey chart. Paying particular attention to the final year cell of the total benefit
column.
